Honor is a smartphone brand that was established in 2013 by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd, a Chinese multinational technology company. Honor smartphones are known for offering high-quality features and specifications at an affordable price point.
In November 2020, Huawei sold off its Honor brand to a consortium of Chinese companies due to the increasing pressure from the US government's trade restrictions. The sale was aimed at allowing Honor to continue its operations independently from Huawei and overcome the challenges it faced as a result of the trade restrictions.
As of 2021, Honor has released several smartphone models that feature innovative technology and stylish design. Some of the popular models include Honor 50, Honor 9X, Honor View 20, and Honor 10. Honor smartphones run on Android operating system and come with Honor's own user interface, known as Magic UI.
